Final Draft

Final Draft is one of the best tools available for screenwriters. It doesn't matter if you are starting to write your first play or if you are an experienced writer, this software will help you create a screenplay, and it comes with many features that will make the task much easier.

The program's graphic interface is intuitive and very easy to use. You can begin writing your screenplay as soon as you launch the application. The navigator allows you to divide your writing into different scenes, script notes and characters. You can save your progress in any of the three menus. I think that this is useful for the moment when you've found inspiration, and you want to develop your character and then use it in a scene.

When you are writing a chapter, you can add the characters that will be taking part in that scene. You can divide your texts in different parts and then find them very easily. From the Production tab, you will be able to delete scenes, use the revision mode, lock pages and more.

If you click the Play button in the Tools menu, a female voice will read the entire screenplay you've written. Having your work read out loud is useful for getting a sense of how good or bad it is. You can also assign voices to different characters. The program comes with an enhanced spelling corrector and a synonym dictionary.

Final Draft comes with many formatting tools. In the Help menu of the program, you have some tutorial files that are of great help when you need guidance on how to properly write scenes.
